Jeff More | President and CEO

Jeff More is a seasoned CEO, with a particular focus on intensive growth mandates. His experience spans a diverse set of industries, including environmental services, electronics recycling, telecommunications, robotics, and engineered materials. This is coupled with extensive expertise in global markets, including China, India, Japan, South America, and Africa.

As President & Chief Executive Officer, Jeff is responsible for the strategic and overall leadership of MineSense Technologies. His primary mandate is to bring to market the company’s disruptive, value-creating technology.

A company builder with a proven track record in both large companies and entrepreneurial environments, Jeff brings a dedication to bringing transformative technology to critical industries. Jeff holds an MBA, as well as a B.Eng in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University.


Martin Wallace | Chief Financial Officer

Martin Wallace is a financial executive with extensive experience managing risk, financing and liquidity under a wide variety of conditions. He began his career in the investment management industry, including five years as an analyst at a hedge fund in London, UK.

Prior to joining MineSense, Martin spent over a decade in the mining industry in Toronto and Vancouver with New Gold Inc., where he was responsible for leading all aspects of financing, technology, liquidity and risk management, including the successful issuance of over $1 billion in high yield bonds, multiple syndicated credit facilities and numerous other capital markets, structured finance and hedging transactions.

Shaped by diverse experiences in volatile industries, Martin is drawn to fast-paced environments where he can apply his technical abilities and comprehension of risk and uncertainty to successfully navigate complex and rapidly changing situations. Martin is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business.


Frank Hoogendoorn | Chief Data Officer

Frank Hoogendoorn is a technology executive with many years of experience in leading the development and commercialization of data-centric products and services. As a data-focused IT strategist, Frank loves to work at the intersection of technology and business and is passionate about creating data-driven solutions that improve sustainability.

Frank is responsible for implementing the digital strategy at MineSense, as well as for growing the company’s data capabilities by building a team of data professionals that includes data scientists, data engineers, and geoscientists.

An entrepreneur at heart, Frank co-founded Cognera Corp. in 2002, which as EVP Business Solutions, he helped grow into one of the largest companies of its kind in Canada. Prior to joining MineSense, Frank worked as an independent IT Management Consultant, where, in addition to helping clients craft and implement IT strategies, he led the development of several data-centered product and service offerings. Frank holds a Business Administration Diploma with a major in Accounting, and a Business Management Degree with a double major in Finance and Management Information Systems (MIS).


Claudio Toro-Salazar | Executive VP, Business Development

Claudio Toro-Salazar has been a leader in technology for Mining and Mineral Processing for more than three decades and brings expertise in industrial technology and strategic business development. Claudio joined MineSense from Aspen Technology Inc, where he built and led their Global Mining and Metals business. Prior to AspenTech, Claudio was the Commercial Director – Head of Americas for GE Digital Mine, where he drove strategic market development and business development. He also served ABB as Vice President of Mining and Metals for Latin America for eight years.

Claudio holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria – Chile and an MBA in Marketing from the Max M. Fisher School of Business – Ohio State University.


Karina Rogers | VP Strategy and Services

In her role Karina is focused on optimizing MineSense’s existing products operability and availability based on field performance monitoring and feedback, and pioneering transformative engineering design for the MineSense’s next products which enable new data fusion opportunities from mine to mill.

Karina’s background includes extensive technical, business, and strategy-development experience in both the mining and industrial chemicals industries.

A Chemical Engineer by education, Karina started her career in process- and project-engineering roles within a global engineering firm that took her to many parts of the world.

Her international experience continued as she progressed through her career in various line-management, project-management, quality, and business-development roles, including leading Wood’s (Amec’s) Mining & Metals Business Development activities for North America and heading up the multi-sector Vancouver-based operations for 800 employees.


Brian Muller | VP, Field Services

Brian Muller is a seasoned Mining Engineer with 25 years of international mining experience, including a period as Mine Manager. In addition to recruiting and managing international teams, he has exhaustive fabrication, supply, and support experience. He has managed his own mining and heavy industrial fabrication, hydraulic, and support company servicing principally the Australian east coast.

As the VP of Field Services at MineSense Technologies, Brian is responsible for all field deployments. In his role, he deploys, maintains, and supports various equipment types globally. Brian ensures that there is local support at all mine sites to ensure the smooth operation of the MineSense Systems.

Having lived and worked in South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Australia, and Canada, Brian brings a breadth of international understanding, linking industry knowledge and experience to new technologies.


Monica Feregrino | VP, Operations

Monica Feregrino is an Operations professional with 25 years’ experience. An Electrical Engineer with a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering, her career has involved managing complex business initiatives, including daily operations, operational excellence, manufacturing, capacity, capital planning, team management, quality, supply-chain selection, contractor hour management, vendor partnership, and resource rationalization.

Having lived and worked in Mexico, the United States, and Canada, with frequent travel to Europe, Asia, and throughout North America for business, Monica brings a strong understanding of global business practices to her role as VP Operations at MineSense Technologies.

She has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Influential Women in Canadian Supply Chain by the Supply Chain Canada Association, and as a 2020 Top Immigrant in Supply Chain.


Greg Cole | VP, Engineering

Dr. Greg Cole, Ph.D. is a long-standing technology & product development professional with expertise in robotics, engineering, and medical device development. He previously served as both Director of New Robot Products and Director of Advanced Development at Seegrid, an autonomous industrial vehicle corporation. As a graduate student, Dr. Cole collaborated with Dr. Gregory Fischer on research in interventional robotics and co-founded Medical Motion Corporation to enable the development of robotic surgical technologies by other universities. He has since held engineering and leadership roles at Philips Corporate Research, where he contributed to the development of the Fiber Optic Real Shape system (FORS) and other novel image-guided interventional systems, and ABB Corporate Research, where he led increasingly impactful programs including ABB's electric vehicle charging group's ACD systems, IP development in ABB Corporate Research US, as well as startup engagement management for ABBs venture capital division.
