John Slaven | Chief Executive Officer
As our Chief Executive Officer, John Slaven leads the company’s strategic direction, global expansion, and operational excellence as MineSense continues to scale worldwide.
John is an internationally recognized industry professional with more than 35 years of experience spanning exploration, project development, mining, and processing operations. He most recently served as the CEO of Jetti, a technology-driven natural resources company. He also held senior leadership positions at BHP, Alcoa Corporation, Boston Consulting Group, De Beers, and Vedanta Limited. He received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Cape Town and earned an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
Anne Bulik | President & Chief Operating Officer
Anne Bulik is our President & Chief Operating Officer at MineSense, where she oversees all aspects of business execution to drive growth and expand the company’s market presence.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience at companies such as Teledyne, FLIR, Andritz, Raytheon, and GE, Anne brings deep expertise in managing technology-driven organizations, scaling operations, and solving complex challenges. Her background spans engineering development, operational leadership, and performance optimization — all strengthened by her ability to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Anne holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
John Hart | Chief Financial Officer
John Hart is our Chief Financial Officer, driving the financial strategies, disciplines, and processes that will ensure profitable growth, reduced risk, and optimized spending as MineSense continues to rapidly expand internationally.
For over two decades, John has provided financial leadership and expertise to both startups and world-renowned organizations including NES Financial, Varian, Apple, and Dell. John has proven success managing everything from fundraising to scaling strategies, risk management to FP&A, deal and opportunity analysis. He is adept at GTM and expanded pricing strategies for profit maximization, while building financial protocols, systems, and reports that support planning and growth needs. He is also known for outstanding finance transformation, including staff incentive opportunities and optimization for greatest ROI.
Frank Hoogendoorn | Chief Data & Product Officer
Frank Hoogendoorn is our Chief Data Officer responsible for the digital strategies and data capabilities of MineSense.
For over twenty years, Frank has worked as an IT strategist with a passion for data-driven solutions. He has led development of an impressive portfolio of data-centered product offerings as both an in-house leader and independent consultant. This includes acting as a technology specialist for large energy carriers, co-founder of Cognera, one of the largest Business Processing Outsourcing Solutions in Canada (acquired by Harris), and strategic consultant supporting a range of clients and industries. With a personal commitment to sustainability, Frank has spent years working with the MineSense team to strengthen our digital capabilities, technology, and cloud-based data ecosystem. Frank holds a Business Management Degree with a double major in Finance and Management Information Systems.
Kaushik Choudhary | VP Engineering
As our Vice President of Engineering, Kaushik Choudhary oversees product development and ongoing enhancements to the MineSense software and hardware offerings.
With almost two decades of strategic software development and engineering expertise, Kaushik has been responsible for all aspects of project planning, delivery, team leadership, and product development for a wide range of tech companies. This includes many years coaching and mentoring the MineSense software development team, developing and executing our product roadmap and software/hardware strategic plans, and ensuring greatest system performance and value as we have continued to scale. Kaushik has a Masters in Computer Science, and Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering.
Bjørn Hilberg | Executive VP Field Services
As our Executive Vice President Field Services, Bjørn Hilberg oversees the teams, processes, and execution for all our field services.
With over 20 years of global field service operations and execution, Bjørn is passionate about service delivery, and is recognized for his ability to build trust, collaborate, and successfully deliver for his clients and teams. Prior to joining MineSense, Bjørn was Global Director Field Service with Marel, a world leader in equipment and production lines for the food processing industry. There, he led a global organization of more than 1000 Field Service Engineers and back-office employees. He also spent over a decade with mining solution provider, FLSmidth, building multinational Field Service operations and leading international project teams and execution. Bjørn holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
