As a result of our growth, we are looking to add an Intermediate System Integration and Test Engineer to our Quality team. You will be responsible for researching, defining, and following best practices when it comes to improving product quality. This position can work in a hybrid setting, partially in the office and partially remote.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Commissioning systems; hardware and software.
  • Performing hardware, software, and firmware integration tests.
  • Defining, developing, and executing integration tests for complex system functionality.
  • Understanding the interdependencies between sub-systems then creating and executing the associated test plans.
  • Analyzing test results, documenting defects, and compiling relevant reports.
  • Collaborating with other product and engineering teams, gaining experience in software, hardware, networking, and security aspects of the product.
  • Creating data generators and simulators to test the integrated environment, using Python as the preferred language.
  • Developing the automated tests, where applicable.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting the systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledgeable in software, hardware, PLC, and networking.
  • Knowledge of both Linux and Windows testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with a global design team.
  • Experience in the mining industry is considered a plus.
